Kamehameha V.

Kamehameha V. ( born December 11, 1830 in Honolulu, † December 11, 1872 ibid, actually Lot Kapuaiwa ) was from 1863 to 1872, the last ruler of the Kingdom of Hawaii from the Kamehameha line. In memory of his late brother at a young age Alexander Liholiho he called 1863 the residence of the Hawaiian kings Iolani.

Life

When Prince Lot, he was until 1863 Head of Education; In 1864 he gave the country a constitution. Kamehameha V. was the first Masonic Hawaii, taken on June 15, 1853, carried on 8 December 1853, and collected on 27 February 1854 in the "Hawaiian Lodge " No. 21

Order
