Kamzík TV Tower

The TV Tower Bratislava (Slovak Televízna veža na Kamzíku ) is a 200 meter high concrete tower, which at 433 m nm on the mountain Kamzík ( German Gemsenberg ) is located. The TV Tower Bratislava was completed according to the plans of architect Stanislav Májek, Jakub Tomašák, Juraj Kozák, Milan Jurica and Ján Privitzer 1975 and has the shape of a double pyramid, similar to a Blaw -Knox transmission tower. In addition to several television Slovak radio programs are broadcast with mostly high transmission power. The Slovak radio channels can be received easily to Vienna. As with many large radio towers are also available in this tower height of 68 meters in a restaurant. Part of it is ( Pressburg ), the Danube and across the borders to Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic created Bratislava as a rotary stage with 360 ° view of the Carpathian Mountains.
