Kanchanaphisek Bridge

The Kanchanaphisek Bridge ( Thai สะพาน กา ญ จ นาภิ เษ ก ) is a six-lane cable-stayed bridge over the Chaophraya River in Samut Prakan province. It is part of the Outer ring road of Bangkok and was designed by the architectural firm Parsons Brinkerhoff.

The Kanchanaphisek Bridge was officially opened to traffic on 15 November 2007 after three years of construction. Their wingspan is 500 feet, its length at 951 meters. The total height is about 188 meters, the free height of the road is about 50 meters.

Contrary to plans for a toll to drive through until September 2008, remain free.
