Kanishka III

Kanishka (III ) was a ruler of the Kushan. His dating and ordering are controversial. It dates either in the second or third century AD

Kanishka is known only from a Kharoshthi inscription on a stone, which was found near the Indus and reported by the excavation of a well. The inscription is dated in one year 41. In the inscription, Kanishka is referred to as the son of Vaschischka. As title he leads among other kaisara the Roman imperial title. The exact dating of the ruler is problematic because not entirely sure on what era the year 41 refers.
