Geographical location

The chapter mountain is located in the Lower Harz Harz nature park / Saxony- Anhalt. It rises about 2 km east-northeast of the village fir, a district of Upper am Brocken. Its wooded landscape falls to the west and north in the valley of the Bode from warm in the most northwest foot of the mountain flows the Allerbach, and to the east over several small streams in that Rappbode influx Allerbach.
