Insignia dispute

In this the insignia dispute flared up again after August Naegle, the "iron " Rector of the German Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague, had passed away. Rector Dominguez mobilized by his speech an attack on the German university building on 24 November 1934 in which several students were injured. The German Rector, Professor Grosser, decided next day to surrender the insignia, and guided them on the same day at the Czech university on. This was " the new University Act helped a lot, (...) peaceful coexistence of nations in the new state " to make it impossible Grosser wrote later.
