Karl Bähre

Karl Bähre (* April 11, 1899 in Hannover, † January 14, 1960 in Hannover ) was a German water polo player from SV Wasserfreunde 1898 Hannover.

With the water Bähre friends in 1921, 1922 and 1923 German Champion 1927 Bähre could win his fourth title.

Bähre belonged to the German water polo national team, as this again was allowed to participate in international sports events after the First World War. At the European Championships in 1926 the German team won bronze behind Hungary and Sweden, but resigned a year later in the preliminary round against Sweden from. At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 Bähre was with the German water polo team Olympic champion.
