Karl Heinz Klee

Karl Heinz Klee ( born June 9, 1930 in Innsbruck, † September 21, 2008 in Rum, Austria ) was an Austrian sports official and lawyer.

Life

Karl Heinz Klee was an avid skier and has studied as a lawyer regularly with questions of ski law. He was president from 1966 to 1972 and since then Honorary President of the Austrian Ski Federation. He became famous when he revolted at the Olympic Winter Games in 1972 on the exclusion of Karl Schranz, due to previous unauthorized advertising: "Sport has always and everywhere operated professionally. " He was founder and president of the Austria ski pools, Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the. XII. Winter Olympics (1973-1977), president and honorary president of the Austrian Ski Federation and the Innsbruck Skirennläufervereinigung, honorary member of the Austrian Olympic Committee, Expert for snow law and expert on Attorney's costs right.

By 2007, Klee was chairman of the Committee on Legal Issues and Security of the International Ski Federation FIS.
