Karl von Eckartshausen

Charles of Eckartshausen (* June 28, 1752 in Haimhausen, † May 12, 1803 in Munich) was a German writer, philosopher, reconnaissance, and later Theosophist, esoteric and alchemist.

Charles of Eckartshausen studied philosophy and Bavarian civil law in Munich and Ingolstadt. 1776, he was privy councilor, in 1780 and 1784 Buchzensurrat Secret archivist in Munich. 1791 his name appeared on the list of catalog in Munich really still working Illuminati their protectors, and also those which are highly suspicious of Illuminatismus with the following entry: " Councillor and archivist, one of the most active workers, Illuminatus ".
