Kart circuit

Kart tracks are the racetracks in karting. They are essentially the same structure as the motorsport circuits to formula, sports and touring car races are held, only smaller. You have an asphalt surface, often with a pit lane and spectator stands.

A distinction between indoor and outdoor go-kart tracks. Kart races will exclusively be played on outdoor go-kart tracks, because only there, the safety requirements are met. For the discharge of race in Germany the train before the German Motorsport Association (DMSB ) must be removed. In Austria, the acceptance by the Supreme National Sports Commission for the Automotive Sport ( OSK ) is carried out. They are usually around 1000 m long and 7-15 m wide. The indoor kart tracks Leihkartfahrer, however, are designed only for amateur drivers /. In Germany there were in early 2012 about 210 kart tracks.
