The Inca Kasch (Russian Кашинка ) is a 128 km long left tributary of the Volga River in the European part of Russia.

Description

It rises near the villages Liskowo and Mjakolowo, about 15 km west of Rajonverwaltungssitzes Kessowa Gora in the north-eastern Tver Oblast. First, it flows in an easterly direction mainly through the forested landscape. After passing Kessowa Gora, it turns off to the south.

Shortly after, she reached Kashin, one of the oldest towns in Tver Oblast. Shortly after it has passed through the city, the backwash of the Uglich Reservoir to the Volga River is dammed, and also the course of the river Kasch Inca begins impressed. The river is thus wide at its lower reaches up to 400 m.

In Werchneje Uste the Kasch Inca finally flows into the Volga.

The river is frozen on average from November to April and navigable in ice-free period in the lowest 25 km away.
