Finally, they called around to a song by Led Zeppelin in Kashmir. After the group had released their first two albums as a trio, keyboardist Henrik Lindstrand only joined in the recordings for the third studio album, The Good Life (1999 ) joined the band. This album had great success in Denmark and brought Kashmir six Danish Grammys one. The follow-up album Zitilites (2003) was already after one week at # 1 on the Danish album charts and reached platinum status. It made the band internationally known.

For the fifth album No Balance Palace (2005), Kashmir Lou Reed and David Bowie were able to win for one song together, the latter sings the duet with The Cynic Eistrup. The cover of the album shows a work by the Russian artist El Lissitzky: the constructivist design to his Abstract Cabinet in the Sprengel Museum Hannover.
