Kashmir pygmy shrew

Sorex planiceps is a shrew of the genus Rotzahnspitzmäuse ( Sorex ). It occurs in South Asia before the Kashmir region in the border area of India and Pakistan as well as in the far west of the People 's Republic of China in the provinces of Xinjiang and Xizang.

Way of life

Sorex planiceps, although it is rarely seen by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources ( IUCN) classified as not at risk ( least concern ) due to the relatively large and undisturbed areas of distribution, the assumed large stock and the non-existent inventory threat.
