Kastamonuspor

Kastamonuspor is a Turkish football club from Kastamonu. Their home games discharged from the Green-Whites in Gazi Stadium.

History

The club was founded on March 18, 1950 under the direction of Sabahattin Çelengil with the club colors Grüm Black and adopted the following year participated in the regional amateur league. 1964 the Turkish Football Federation decided to start a project, which could be shared by all Turkish provinces on professional football events. Up to this time the clubs from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Adana championships played among themselves in professional football. The Association then developed two professional minor leagues today's Süper Lig, the 2nd and the 3rd Liga League. In these two leagues least one team were then taken depending on the strength of each province. 1966 merged with Kastamonuspor then Çamsu Gençlik SK and thus took the 1967/68 season at the second highest Turkish league, today TFF 1 Lig, this half part. The club colors were set to red-black and were intended as a tribute to AC Milan.

From 2001 to 2013, the club played in the fourth highest Turkish league, the TFF 3 ligament in the fourth division 2012/13 season the team missed the relegation of the TFF 3 Lig, an increase after 29 years of professional league affiliation again in the amateur football.
