Katarzyna Figura
Katarzyna Figura ( born March 22, 1962 in Warsaw) is a Polish actress.
Figura graduated 1985, the Warsaw Academy of Drama Państwowa Wyższa SzkoĹ Teatralna. From 1985 to 1988 she worked in theater Teatr Współczesny in Warsaw. Since the late 1980s, it is among the most famous Polish actress, she performed in the comedies Kingsajz and Pociąg do Hollywood. In the film's voice in the garden ( 1993) she played alongside Anouk Aimée; in the film Prêt -à -Porter (1994 ) she played a supporting role alongside Marcello Mastroianni, Kim Basinger, Tim Robbins and Julia Roberts; in the movie The Pianist (2002) she played alongside Adrien Brody a small supporting role. One of her most important film was the film version of the story Żurek of Olga Tokarczuk 2003, for which she was one year later honored with the Polish Film Award for Best Actress.
Figura was considered for the lead role in the film The Player into consideration, after all, this role has been filled by Greta Scacchi.
Figura married in 2000 his second wife Kai Schoenhals and has three children.
