Katharina Althaus
Katharina Althaus (born 23 May 1996 Oberstdorf) is a German ski jumper. Katharina Althaus is a student and attended the Skiinternat Oberstdorf.
Career
Althaus, who starts for the SC Oberstdorf, announced on 10 August, 2008 Bischofsgruen her debut in the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup. At the German Championships in ladies ski jumping 2008 in Oberhof Althaus reached in the individual the 10th Place and in common with Sarah Pöppel as a team Bayern I the 7th Place. On January 21, 2009, she reached for the first time in Toblach the points and with twelfth place her best result to date. The 2008/09 season ended Althaus on the 55th place of the Continental Cup overall standings. The OPA - Games 2010 in the Austrian iron ore she became vice - champion. In August 2011, she succeeded in Berchtesgaden in the Ladies Cup in two victories. On 3 December 2011, she made her debut in the World Cup in Lillehammer, was 33 and just missed out on the second pass.
