Kathleen Brennan

Kathleen Patricia Brennan ( * in Johnsburg, Illinois) is an American artist. She is married to the American singer, composer, and actor Tom Waits.

Life

Kathleen Brennan and Tom Waits met in 1980 during the filming of Francis Ford Coppola movie One from the Heart (English One from the Heart ). Waits wrote the soundtrack for the film along with Crystal Gayle. Brennan worked in, which was founded and led by Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas film studio American Zoetrope as a script assistant.

Waits and Brennan were married on 10 August 1980 in the 24 -hour Always Forever Yours Wedding Chapel in Watts after a brief late-night call to Reverend Donald W. Washington, the pastor of the church.

Although Brennan rarely appears in public, she has been involved Swordfishtrombones (1983 ) to virtually any work of her husband as co- producer and co- writer.

Brennan is also active as a painter and contributed the images to Waits ' album with the music for the play The Black Rider at.

She lives with her husband and three children trowel Simone ( b. 1983 ), Casey Xavier ( born 1985 ) and Sullivan (* 1993) in California.
