Life
Perkins grew up in New Baltimore, Michigan, a small town just outside of Detroit. The sister of four older brothers enjoyed the time in which she was alone by rehearsed roles and she performed in front of people in the neighborhood. This led to a high school career in which she was very involved in the school and drama choir program. Perkins attended Western Michigan University and after almost three years, she earned a bachelor's degree in musical theater. After they had traveled through parts of the Midwest and performed in various regional theaters, Perkins went to Los Angeles. She spent a few years doing odd jobs and acting classes.
Career
Perkins worked with artists such as Chris O'Donnell, Courteney Cox, Christina Applegate, as well as with many other actors. Perkins performed in over twenty television series. She had, for example, recurring roles in marriage is ..., NCIS: LA, Gary Unmarried, Castle or The Game. Among her film roles falls, for example, participation in Michael Bay's The Island (2005) alongside Ewan McGregor, Scarlett Johansson, Sean Bean and Michael Clarke Duncan.

Perkins has a black belt in Taekwondo.
