Gary Unmarried

Gary Unmarried is an American sitcom created by Ed Yeager, which was produced from 2008 to 2010 on the CBS Television Studios and ABC Studios. The series revolves around a divorced couple, the custody of his two children divides, while both make new acquaintances. Ed Yeager and Ric Swartzlander served during the first season as executive producers. The series was known during production titled Project Gary.

Action

The series revolves around the lives of Gary Brooks (Jay Mohr ) and begins three months after he and his ex-wife Allison Brooks ( Paula Marshall) were officially divorced. Gary bought a painting company and buys his own house. Now his life changed after marriage, and he goes back to appointments.

The series ends with the fact that Gary is between the decision whether to select or Allison Sasha.

Production

First, only the branches was appointed usual 13 episodes. On 14 November 2008 CBS then ordered seven more episodes.

On 10 May 2009, it was announced that the two executive producers Yeager and Swartzlander be leaving the show due to creative differences. The series was renewed for a second season on May 19, 2009. The series was officially happy with Accidentally On 18 May 2010, and The New Adventures of Old Christine discontinued.

The first season ran from 24 September 2008 to 20 May 2009 on the U.S. television network CBS. The series was aired on Wednesdays at 8:30 clock, behind The New Adventures of Old Christine. The second season started on 23 September 2009 at 8.30 clock. The season finale aired on March 17, 2010.

Germany

In Germany, the series began on 6 October 2009 on the German Comedy Central. There, the first season was aired until February 21, 2010. The second season ran between October 11 and November 8, 2010 on Comedy Central.

Austria

In Austria, the first season between 13 March and 28 August 2010 to the local ORF 1 was shown. The second season will be aired there since 21 May 2011.
