Katrineholms SK

Katrineholms SK (short: KSK ) is a Swedish sports club from the city of Katrine Holm. The club now has four sports departments, one for bandy, bowling, football and athletics.

The club was founded on May 1, 1919.

Katrineholms SK Bandy

In the area of Bandy club is one of the classic clubs of this sport in Sweden. Thus, the club was very successful, especially in the 1970s. In this decade, the men's team three times Swedish champion could ( and even second) and the women's team could be twice national champion ( five second). Today ( 2006/ 07 ) plays the A- team Mr. Bandy in the second Swedish league. ( Division 1 )

Katrineholms SK football

The football department was less successful in its history. However, the club has been able to qualify three times already for the second Swedish football league. Currently ( 2006 season ) plays the men's team in the fifth division ( Division 3 Östra Svealand ).
