Katsuyama (Fukuoka)
Katsuyama (Japanese胜 山 町, machi, literally: Wins Mountain ) was a city in Miyako -gun Japanese Fukuoka Prefecture.
History
Katsuyama was established on March 1, 1955 from the merger of Mura Isayama (谏 山村, -mura ), Kubo (久保 村, -mura ) and Kuroda (黒 田村, -mura ).
On 20 March 2006, it merged with Saigawa and Toyotsu together for new Miyako Machi.

By Katsuyama the National road runs 201 to Fukuoka or Kanda.
Education
In Katsuyama are the primary schools Isayama, Kubo and Kuroda, as well as the middle school Katsuyama.
