Kattem IL

Kattem Idrettslag (short: Kattem IL) is a Norwegian sports club from the Trondheim district Kattem. The club was founded in 1979.

Figurehead of the club is the women's football department. The team managed first time in 2004 the rise in the Toppserien the highest division of the Norwegian women's football. After a year, however, had to descend again. In the 2006 season the direct re- ascent was made ​​, however, increased after the 2012 season again in the second class 1 Divisjon. The team carries out the home games in the stadium " Leinstrand Gress ".
