Katy Carmichael

Katy Carmichael (born 1971 in Liverpool, England) is a British actress who is best known for her roles in various British television series.

Katy Carmichael was born in 1971 in Liverpool, where he attended the Gateacre Comprehensive School and the Liverpool Boys College, which admit girls in the sixth grade. She then studied the University of Bristol and graduated in the subject " Drama: Film and Television".

In 1991, Carmichael her first TV appearance in an episode of the comedy series Bread. From 1999 to 2001 she played the role of Twist in Spaced with Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes, with whom she worked in the short-lived sketch comedy Six Pairs of Pants in 1995. From 2002 to 2003, she starred in five episodes of the longest British soap Coronation Street. Since early 2009 she has been seen in the fourth season of the drama series Waterloo Road on BBC One.

In addition to her work for cinema and television Carmichael also plays roles in the theater. She is married to actor Tristan Sturrock, with whom she has two children.
