Kaunas Priest Seminary
The seminary Kaunas ( lit. Kauno kunigų seminarija ) is a Catholic seminary in Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania, Department of the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas ( VDU). There are bachelor's, master's, licentiate and doctoral studies. The course begins with the preparation course.
At the seminar, the seminarians study from the Archdiocese of Kaunas, Šiauliai, the diocese and the diocese Vilkaviškis. In 2005 there were 37 teachers, including 6 professors, 15 Theology and Canon Law Doctor 7. There were 65 seminarians. A seminarian " cost " in 2005 over 15,000 litas ( € 4348 ). The preparation of a priest costs 95,000 litas ( 27,500 euros ).
