Kay Bluhm

Kay Bluhm ( born October 13, 1968 in Brandenburg ( Havel ) ) is a former German canoeist. He was a multiple world champion and three -time Olympic champion in canoe racing.

Career

Bluhm came after unsuccessful attempts as a footballer, handball and basketball 1978 Canoe Racing. He trained in motor -South Brandenburg, moved in 1982 and 1983 according to ASK Potsdam Müggelheim. Later he started for the KC Potsdam.

His first Olympic medal, he scored in 1988 in Seoul, where he won the kayak four for the Olympic team of the GDR a bronze medal.
