Kay Lenz

Kay Lenz ( born March 4, 1953 in Los Angeles ) is an American actress.

Life

Kay Lenz began her acting career as a teenager in the late 1960s in the American television series. She played among others in the Andy Griffith Show. She got a small role in the cult film American Graffiti by George Lucas in 1973. During the same year she played her most important leading role in a feature film. As Breezy in the morning meeting she starred opposite William Holden, directed by Clint Eastwood and received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Young Actress. In 1987, she starred in the action film The White in mind. The German public, she was known for the role of Kate Jordache in the television saga rich and poor. For this role she was nominated for an Emmy Award. The price they received for their work in 1989 ultimately in the series Midnight Caller. From 1977 to 1982 she was married to the teen idol David Cassidy.
