Kazakhstan Stock Exchange

The Kazakh Stock Exchange KASE (Russian Казахстанская фондовая биржа, english Kazakhstan stock exchange ) was founded on December 30, 1993 by a number of banks and the Kazakh central bank as Kazakh Interbank Currency Exchange JSC. It is the only stock exchange in Kazakhstan, based in Almaty.

In 2009, the Kazakh Stock Exchange led about 85 companies and in September he had a market capitalization of 7.5 trillion tenge; the trading volume in October was 1.68 trillion tenge.

The most important index of the Kazakh Stock Exchange is the KASE Index, which includes the seven largest companies in the country are listed.
