Kazakhstan women's national football team

The Kazakh national football team is the national team of the Women of the Central Asian state of Kazakhstan. The Football Association is the Qasaqstannyng Futbol Federazijassy. We've played in 1995 their first official international match against Hong Kong, previously owned the land to the Soviet Union. Kazakhstan was a member of the 1992-2002 AFC, then moved into the UEFA. The team currently occupies the rank 63 of the FIFA World Ranking (as of December 2013). The previous best finish was 58th in March 2009.

History

The first games played the Kazakh team at the Asia Cup in 1995, for which no qualification was necessary. You could but there, as in the following two participations not survive the first round. After the change of Kazakhstan in UEFA team first participated in the qualifiers for Euro 2005. In category B, the team struggled to move up in category A, which would have allowed to participate in the qualification for EURO 2009. The rise succeeded just as in qualifying for the 2009 European Championships survive the first qualifying round. In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met with Russia, Ireland, Switzerland and Israel. It Kazakhstan played on 27 March 2010 at the match against Switzerland for the first time against a German team. Kazakhstan lost all the games, though sometimes very scarce with 0:1 and 1:2. However, the 0:8 against the Russians was the highest international match victory of the Russinnnen. At the end of Kazakhstan finished last in the table. For the Olympic football tournaments, the Kazakh team has been unable to qualify also.

So far, there were no games against Austria. In qualifying for the EURO 2013 Kazakhstan met for the first time on Germany. In the first leg of the Kazakh team suffered their heaviest defeat, the return match the heaviest home defeat.
