Kazakhstanskaya Pravda

Kasachstanskaja Pravda (Russian Казахстанская правда on German Kazakh truth ) is a government official, Russian -language daily newspaper in Kazakhstan and a major source of official and business information in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

History

The newspaper Kasachstanskaja Pravda was founded in 1920, the pioneer was the Russian-language newspaper "Izvestia Kirgiskogo Kraja " (Russian Известия Киргизского края on German news of the Kyrgyz region) and issued on 1 January 1920. This newspaper was published every Thursday, the semi- annual subscription was 50 rubles, with special editions cost 2 rubles. With the founding of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic of the newspaper "Izvestia Kirgiskogo Kraja " gained importance as it was incorporated into the Communist Party and was issued in 1923 six times a week. The name was in 1921 in " Stepnoje pravo " (Russian Степная правда on German truth of the steppe ) and changed from 1923 to 1932 was called the newspaper " Sojetskaja Step " (Russian Советская степь on German Soviet steppe ). The first appearance under the name Kasachstanskaja Pravda took place on 21 January 1932. Many famous Soviet journalists such as Olga Bergholz, Pavel Kusnetzov, Pavel and Sergei Rogosinckij Kruschinskij registered for the Kasachstanskaja Pravda and cooperated as Mikhail Zoshchenko, Kukryniksy, Konstantin Simonov and Konstantin Paustovsky with the newspaper.

Content

The Kasachstanskaja Pravda regarded as the mouthpiece of the government and a must for the politically interested, since there the decrees of the President regarding the appointment and dismissal of members of the government and other leading government officials, as well as legal texts are published. In addition to regional and national issues international events can be found.

The Kasachstanskaja Pravda has a circulation of 113 850 copies and is in part identical with the kasachischsprachigen newspaper Egemen Kazakhstan ( 83,600 copies). Both newspapers and other TV stations have been part of July 2008 on the National Media Holding Arna Media.
