Kazumi Totaka

Kazumi Totaka (Japanese戸 高 一生, Totaka Kazumi, also known as Totakeke (と たかけ), born August 23, 1967 in the prefecture of Tokyo) is a Japanese video game composer, voice actor and game developers.

Work

At the age of 24 years Totaka was hired in 1991 as a writer for the Japanese video game and game console manufacturers Nintendo and assigned to the Department Nintendo Research & Development 1. The first game with his participation was the 1992's X. In the following years Totaka has composed the soundtracks to Super Mario Land 2 - Six Golden Coins or The Legend of Zelda: Link 's Awakening. In 1995 he moved as a composer in the studio Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development, where he composes for series such as Animal Crossing or Wii Sports ever since.

In addition Totaka acts at Nintendo as a voice actor. Among other things, he lends the character Yoshi 's voice. For Luigi 's Mansion and its successor Totaka dubbed the character of Professor I. Gidd.

His debut as director of a video game delivered Totaka with Wii Music, one in 2008 entered the market, music simulation.

In the Animal Crossing games, the character KK Slider, which is based on Totaka exists. The composer is also known for a short piece of 19 marks, which is called Totaka 's Song and is hidden in almost all composed by Totaka games.
