Kees Bekker

Cornelis " Kees " Bekker ( born January 26, 1883 in Breda, † December 28, 1964 ) was a Dutch football player.

Career

Bekker denied two in 1906 and 1908, four caps for the Dutch national football team. In his debut game on April 29, 1906 against Belgium, the Netherlands lost 0-5, he was team captain. At the Olympic Games in 1908, he could not participate due to injury.

Bekker played for the club HBS Craeyenhout and was involved in the success of the club from the period between 1900 and 1910 was 1903/ 04 and 1905/ 06 Dutch champion and 1905 and 1907 won the Zilveren Bal. Overall Bekker graduated 150 games for the HBS, scoring 82 goals. He then joined the Be Quick Groningen, where he studied medicine and later settled as a doctor.
