Kei Toume

Kei Toume (Japanese冬 目 景, Tome Kei, born April 13, 1970) is a Japanese manga artist.

After she graduated from the same art school as Hiroaki Samura, who was known for his manga Blade of the Immortal, she published in 1992 with a short story called Rokujo Gekijo her debut work as a manga artist. This appeared in the Japanese manga magazine Comic Burger. For this magazine she created as well as other shorter Manga among other things the series The Song of the Lambs, which was made into an anime OVA and in a movie with real actors. The person designated by critics as a successful mix of tension, melancholy and a touch of horror story is about a teenager who realizes that he is suffering from a disease that earns him vampire -like properties.

Other successes reach her ​​with the Samurai Comic Kurogane and the slowly developing relationship drama Sing Yesterday for Me All of these works were published in his magazines, so for adult men. It is one of the few women who could become successful in this genre.

It is regarded as an artist with a partly sketchy and yet perfected drawing style. As this to please their readers know they published three artbooks with illustrations.
