Keijo Korhonen

Keijo Korhonen Tero ( born February 23, 1934 in Melalahti at Paltamo ) is a Finnish politician ( Centre Party ), ambassador and professor.

Korhonen was 1976-1977 Finnish foreign minister. In 1994, he ran as an independent candidate - for the Centre Party Paavo Väyrynen went to - in the presidential election, and was 5.8% fifth.

Besides being a politician, he was also a professor of political history at Helsinki University and taught political science at the University of Arizona. He has also written books in which he deals with foreign policy issues and the UN.
