Keith Woodall

Keith Eugene Woodall (* August 4, 1926 in Elmira, Ontario ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender.

Career

Keith Woodall began his career as a hockey player in the junior team in Kitchener Green Shirts, for which he was active from 1944 to 1946. He then played each a year in the Senior Ontario Hockey League for the Owen Sound and Kitchener- Waterloo Dutchmen Mohawks. In the season 1948/49, the goalkeeper was at the Edmonton Flyers between the posts. In the 1949/50 season he played for Streatham in the British National League. Upon his return to Canada, he first ran for a year for the Glace Bay Miners in Cape Breton Major Hockey League on before he spent as long at the Brantford Redmen in Ontario. From 1952 to 1956 he again played for the Kitchener- Waterloo Dutchmen, with whom he 1953 and 1955 respectively to the Allan Cup, the Canadian amateur championship titles won. He also represented Canada with the Dutchmen at the Olympic Winter Games 1956. Subsequent to the tournament, he finished his career at the age of 30 years.

Internationally

For Canada Woodall took part in the Winter Olympics 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
