Kelis Was Here is the fourth studio album by Kelis. It was released on 22 August 2006 worldwide. The album placed itself in the very first week at number 10 on the Billboard charts, making Kelis successful album in the United States. In 2007, the album was nominated for Best Contemporary R & B Album for the Grammy Awards.

Production

With Kelis Was Here Kelis Rogers is used for the first time on the The Neptunes, the producers of their three previous albums. Instead, they could producers such as will.i.am, Scott Storch and win Cool & Dre for themselves. Executive Producer was Kelis.

Bossy

The first single from the album was Bossy. The track on which it is supported by Too Short, came in May 2006 in the U.S. market.
