KelKel

Kelkel is a resistance movement of young people in Kyrgyzstan.

Translated from the Kyrgyz means Kelkel radiant rebirth of the good. The movement apparently under the influence of other Eastern European student movements like Otpor in Serbia, Kmara in Georgia and Pora! in Ukraine, all of which are influenced by the theories of non-violent resistance by Gene Sharp.
