James Kelley Washington ( born August 21, 1979 in Stephens City, Virginia) is an American professional American football player at the position of wide receiver. He plays for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League ( NFL).

Career

Washington attended the University of Tennessee, where he played only one full season football. In 2003 he was drafted in the third round of the Cincinnati Bengals. In his three years with the team he played primarily as a third wide receiver in 44 games where he could catch the ball a total of 72 times and was able to bring this nine times in the end zone to score a touchdown.

In 2007, he signed a five-year contract with the New England Patriots, in which he played, however, only 2007 and 2008. In 2009, he was discharged to the Baltimore Ravens.
