Kelly Groucutt

Kelly Groucutt (actually Michael William Groucutt ) ( born September 8, 1945 in Coseley, West Midlands, England, † February 19, 2009 in Worcester, West Midlands, England ) was an English musician. He achieved his long years as bassist of the rock band Electric Light Orchestra ( ELO) in the years 1974-1983 notoriety.

Career

Groucutt began his musical career in small bands in the 1960s.

In 1974, Groucutt of a little-known band to ELO, as this "Eldorado" was looking for a bass player for the concert tour for the album. He quickly established himself in the band and with the followers by his stage presence and the acquisition of the lead vocals on several songs.
