Kempten head of the First Schafalpenkopf

The head Kempten ( Kempten also Köpfle ) is a 2,191 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. It is located southwest of the south-western Alps sheep head in the group of Schafalpenköpfe. South-southwest of Kempten Köpfle is the Mindelheimer hut. The rocky summit block of the head sits on a ridge that has lush grassy slopes here.

Ascent

The summit is reached via the Mindelheimer Ferrata, which connects the Fiderepasshütte and Mindelheimer hut, and from the south-west over a distance of the Mindelheimer hut.
