Kenji Kimihara

Kenji Kimihara (Japanese君 原 健 二, Kimihara Kenji, born March 20, 1941 in Kitakyushu ) is a former Japanese long-distance runner and Olympic silver medalist.

Kenji Kimhara took three times at the Olympics in part in the marathon. At the games in Tokyo in 1964, he finished in 2:19:49 hours 8th place at the 1968 Games in Mexico City, he won in 2:23:31 hours behind the Ethiopian Mamo Wolde silver and at the Games in Munich in 1972 he was fifth in 2:16:27 hours in 1966 won in 2:17:11 hrs Kimihara the 70th Boston Marathon.

Kimihara had a competition weight of 58 kg at a height of 1.67 m.
