Kenneth J. Lawrence (born 1964 ) is an American astronomer.

Lawrence discovered between 1990 and 1994 numerous asteroids and is co-discoverer of the periodic comets 152P/Helin-Lawrence, which is named after him. He is currently working at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA.

After him the asteroid ( 4969 ) Lawrence is named.
