Kent Smith
Kent Smith ( born March 19, 1907 in New York City, New York, † April 23, 1985 in Woodland Hills, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Kent Smith assisted as a child a vaudeville magician and founded while a student an amateur troupe. In 1932 he made the jump to Broadway in 1936, the film debut. Smith played mostly supporting roles, mainly elegant managers or politicians. At the end of his acting career towards Smith appeared as The Invaders or Peyton Place in television series.
