Kenya Airports Authority
Kenya Airports Authority ( KAA ) is a Kenyan authority, based in Nairobi. She is the owner and operator of nine civilian airports and airfields in Kenya as well as for the licensing and control of private airfields responsible. It was founded in 1992 by an act of parliament of the then-ruling Kenya African National Union. The KAA Act regulates in Chapter 395, the powers and functions of the Authority.
In addition to the management and maintenance of airport buildings and facilities, the KAA and ground services as well as emergency services and airport fire ready. The following airports or airfields are under the administration of the KAA:
- Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Nairobi
- Moi International Airport - Mombasa
- Eldoret International Airport - Eldoret
- Nairobi - Nairobi Wilson International Airport
- Kisumu Airport - Kisumu
