Kepler-6

Kepler -6 is a star in the constellation Cygnus, which is surrounded by an exoplanet with the systematic name Kepler - 6b.

The exoplanet Kepler - 6b surrounds the central star with a period of 3.235 days and is counted among the so-called hot Jupiters. It has a mass of about 0.7 Jupiter masses at a radius of about 1.3 Jupiter radii. The exoplanet was discovered in the Kepler mission of NASA; its discovery was announced in January 2010.
