Keriya County

Keriya (于田 县; pinyin: Yutian Xiàn; Uighur: كېرىيە ناھىيىسى / Keriye Nahiyisi ) is a county of the district of Hotan in southern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the northwest of the People 's Republic of China. It has an area of 39,095 km ² and has a population of 220,000. Its main town is the large village Keriya.

The ruined city Yuansha ( Yuansha Gucheng ) from the time of the Western Han dynasty since 2001 has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-130 ).
