Kessenich

Kessenich ( Limburg: Kèsing ) is a district of Kinrooi in the Belgian province of Limburg.

Kessenich was the only imperial city of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation in the Austrian Netherlands, France to the city and left bank of the Rhine was annexed on April 5, 1795.
