Kevin Fowler
Kevin Fowler (born 1966 in Amarillo, Texas ) is an American musician from the Texas country music scene. Prior to his country career, he was a long time guitarist in the hard rock band Dangerous Toys.
Life and career
Kevin Fowler came in 1966 in Amarillo, Texas as younger of two children born, and grew up in this very city. He first began to play both drums and piano. At 20 he went to Los Angeles to study music. In 1990 he returned to Texas and went to live in Austin, where he who - joined hard rock band Dangerous Toys - already existing since 1987. After the time was in the band in which he had never been involved in studio recordings, but with the other band members went only on tour, he founded, together with Kris Robbins mid 90 's, the Southern rock group Thunderfoot.
Fowler released his first solo albums from the year 2000. Published in 2000, Beer, Bait & Ammo sold in Texas about 30,000 times. The title song Mark Chesnutt made a part of his program. With the album High on the Hog of the musicians also rose in 2002 for the first time in the country charts. In the same year he followed with Live at Billy Bob 's Texas his first live CD. His follow- works could be increased continuously commercially. In 2004, for the first time placed one of his songs in the genre charts. With Loose, Loud & Crazy he reached in the same year for the first time the Billboard 200 in December 2010 a best of album was released with the most successful songs from Fowlers ten year solo career.
After 2008 Fowlers at that time the label, the Equity Music Group, had ceased operations, was the beginning of 2010 it was announced that Fowler had signed a contract with Lyric Street Records. The final breakthrough, where it should succeed. These plans failed, however, because the label was already closed shortly thereafter. Then Fowler joined the Disney Music Group.
Fowler is married and has three daughters.
