Kevin Kapstad

Kevin Kapstad ( born February 12, 1986 in Boxborough, Massachusetts) is an American professional ice hockey player who plays for the Landshut Cannibals of the 2nd Bundesliga since 2010.

Career

Kapstad studied from 2005 to 2009 at the University of New Hampshire and played in parallel for their hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. After graduating in his debut season only three games, he established himself in the subsequent period as a regular force in the defensive department of the New Hampshire Wildcats and succeeded to increase each season his points haul. After completing his studies, he was obliged to season 2009/10 from SC Riessersee, for which he was a season in the Bundesliga 2 on the ice.

After their relegation in the league after the season 2009/10 Kapstad decided to leave the club and hired a short time later at the Landshut Cannibals. First, he signed a contract for one season, which was extended for one more season in March 2011, after the Americans had also enforced at the Landshut Cannibals as a regular force.
