Kevin Yagher

Kevin Yagher ( born June 23, 1962 in Illinois, USA) is an American special effects artist and professional and responsible as well for makeup.

With his own company, Kevin Yagher Productions he was responsible for the effects of numerous films, including Starship Troopers, Mission: Impossible II and Nightmare 2: Revenge responsible.

For the film, Chucky - The Killer doll he created the design of the doll Chucky. The shooting of the film, he met his future wife, actress Catherine Hicks, know. In 1990, she got married, two years later, their daughter was born.

Yagher also worked as a director. He took over the directed some episodes of the series Tales from the Crypt and staged in 1996 Hellraiser 4: Bloodline, the fourth installment of the Hellraiser series. However, it came to a Überwürfnis with the film's producers and Yagher no longer wanted to be associated with the film. So the pseudonym Alan Smithee was used for the director rather than its name.

For the film Sleepy Hollow in 1999 Yagher wrote the script and worked as a producer.

His brother Jeff Yagher has worked as an actor.
