Kevork Malikyan

Kevork Malikyan ( born June 2, 1943 in Diyarbakır ) is a British actor of Armenian descent from Turkey.

Born in Diyarbakir in eastern Turkey, Malikyan moved at the age of 10 years to Istanbul, there to receive a religious education. In 1963 he moved to London and began his stage and film career.

After Malikyan 1970 chasing his film debut with a man gave himself, followed in 1989 his most famous role to date as Kazim in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. For a long time his acting career Malikyan was employed in series and in TV productions. So he took over in 1993 for the series The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones a role.

More recently, his most famous film was the remake of The Flight of the Phoenix, then followed outside of his work in TV series nor an appearance in the TV movie Saddam 's Tribe. He returned in late 2011 finally after decades in his home country and played in a Turkish television series called Bir Ömür Yetmez with.
